Jack Murray, CPM®, is an Asset Manager with Mid-City Financial Corporation located in Germantown, Maryland, has over 30 years experience in the field of property management.  His experience in residential management has included serving as the Senior Vice President for two of the largest Management companies in the US.  Mr. Murray is a Past President of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).  He has served as Vice President of the HUD Liaison Committee for the Southeastern Assisted Housing Management Association (SAHMA) and on the SAHMA and NAHMA Board of Directors.  Mr. Murray attended the University of South Carolina in Spartanburg, SC as a business major. 

 

 

Andrew Schwartzberg: Preservation Services, LLC, 11200 Rockville Pike, Suite 225, Rockville, MD 20852 

Andrew Schwartzberg is managing member of Preservation Services, LLC, a leader in the highly specialized area of government assisted and affordable multifamily rental properties.  He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  Mr. Schwartzberg serves on the Mid-Atlantic Regional Advisory Board for the University of Pennsylvania. 

 

 

Eliot Reid: National Foundation for Affordable Housing Solutions, Inc, 11200 Rockville Pike, Suite 250, Rockville, MD 20852

Eliot Reid joined the National Foundation for Affordable Housing Solutions, Inc. (“the Foundation”) as Chief Operating Officer in October 2010. During his term as Chief Operating Officer, the Foundation doubled the size of its housing portfolio and successfully preserved more than 1,000 units of government-assisted rental housing.  This growth led to Eliot’s appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer in April 2012.  Eliot has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Bradley University’s Foster College of Business and received his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Buffalo School of Law.  

 

 

James B. Miller, Jr.: Montgomery Housing Partnership, 12200 Tech Road, Suite 250, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904 

James Miller is currently serving as Asset Manager for Montgomery Housing Partnership.  He retired from Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC) in 2013 as a Director of Asset Management where he was responsible for 24 properties, 16 mixed income properties.   Mr. Miller began his career in multifamily apartment management in 1971.  He graduated from the Institute of Aerospace Sciences and holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Breyer State University.  He was a former director of the Apartment Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and is a licensed Maryland and Virginia Real Estate Broker.  

 

 

Sharon Holland: Edgewood Management Corporation, 20316 Seneca Meadows Parkway, Germantown, MD, 20876

Sharon Holland, Assistant Vice President at Edgewood Management Corporation has property management talents and strengths.  Her ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment has allowed her to enhance the development of various community types and she has overseen 2200 units, including new construction and affordable housing. Ms. Holland is a Maryland Salesperson, District of Columbia Property Manager and Certified Property Manager (CPM) and holds the following designations--Housing Credit Certified Professional, (HCCP), Certified Professional of Occupancy, (CPO) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management, (SHCM).  She is a Director on the Board of the Local Chapter 92 of the Institute for Real Estate Management and serves as Chairman for the Community Involvement Committee.   Ms. Holland has also served on the Community Services committee for the Property Management Association.  Her passion for helping others and expertise in community development and management merge together to provide her with realistic implementable management strategies.
